PFEIFER Covertex is well-known for the planning, fabrication and installation of membrane constructions made of fabric membranes and ETFE foils for facades, roofs and building envelopes. From these high strength materials, the company realizes light-weight structures, characterized by enormous spans, dynamic shapes and an optimized material efficiency - creating a spectacular synthesis of form and function which gives the construction its unique character.

Examples of impressive projects in which PFEIFER Covertex participated include the German-Chinese House in Shanghai, Suzhou SIP in China, the South Railway Station in Guangzhou, Canary Wharf in London, and the National Stadium in Beijing. The stadium, which is also known as the "Birdnest", became world-famous during the Olympic Summer Games 2008. The membrane of the newly renovated roof of the Mercedes-Benz-Arena in Stuttgart, Germany was also supplied by the membrane experts from China and have been installed by PFEIFER.
