Contributing to happiness!

Happiness is precious and plays an important role in every life. There are many ways to contribute to it, such as showing kindness and offering support, which creates connections and lets people know they are not alone. This year, PFEIFER is once again committed to this cause, foregoing large Christmas gifts to donate € 5,000 to the St. Nikolaus Children's Hospice.

The St. Nikolaus children's hospice in Bad Grönenbach accompanies families with an incurable and life-shortening diseased child throughout the entire illness, dying and mourning phase. The diseased children are cared for by a professional team in consultation with the parents. Parents and siblings can take time for their own needs and those of their family - time to rest, to sleep and time for themselves and others.

The relief and time out from everyday life can help them to recharge their batteries. The exchange with other affected families in a protected environment allows friendships to grow and often helps people to better reflect on their own situation.

There is currently no cost-covering funding for children's hospices in Germany. The “Süddeutsche Kinderhospiz-Stiftung” and the “Förderverein Kinderhospiz im Allgäu e.V.” are the financial basis and are therefore dependent on donations and endowments.
