The lighting concept for "Neue Meile" Böblingen consists of thirty floating 100kg, illuminated light rings, which are suspended 9 m above the ground utilizing a cable network.
PFEIFER’s involvement was the supply and installation of the stainless steel cables, type PE and the bespoke connection plates. Three to four pendulum rods for suspending the luminaire are mounted circumferentially on the light rings. The stainless steel cables and the pylon heads are connected by so-called "toggles".
