Two different PFEIFER solutions are available to the user for producing approval-compliant staircase bearings. The Intermediate Staircase Bearing VarioSonic SL is intended for use as an intermediate support for absorbing and transmitting the vertical effects from the pull-out torque and dead weight of angled or spiral stairs in the stairwell wall. Specification of the floor structure at a later time is no problem with the Staircase Bearing SL, since the stairs can be adjusted to the correct level at any time. A change in the staircase structure is also possible even after many years. The Staircase End Bearing Vario Sonic SLE however is used with straight or angled staircases in order to support the end points on the slab or landing. Thanks to the outstanding, above-average sound insulation values of the Staircase Bearings VarioSonic, the optimum sound decoupling of the stairwells from the living areas is guaranteed.
