VS® Systems

The PFEIFER VS® Systems are designed for connecting precast concrete walls and consist essentially of two different product areas: the approval-compliant VS® Systems for static load-bearing connections and the structural VS® Systems for secondary connections. Of the approved systems, the VS® ISI System in particular offers completely new dimensions of for VS® wire rope loop connections. It combines all the advantages of existing wire rope loop systems in one product and offers the ideal solution for all connections between walls or between walls and columns. Minimal mortar consumption, symmetrical arrangement of loops and maximum assembly tolerances bring unimagined increases in efficiency and reliability. In addition the planned interaction of perpendicular and parallel shear loads and tensile loads on the joint can be safely accommodated using the VS® ISI System. The German Institute of Building Technology (DIBt) has issued a german approval for the VS® ISI System. The product range is rounded off by the similarly approved box systems. The free PFEIFER Suite software package is available on the internet for download to assist in dimensioning. PFEIFER VS® Systems have already cemented the success of many projects around the world.
