Hook gripper onto crane hook (use a suitable reducing-pendant if necessary) and lower over the drum to be lifted, until the brackets of the guiding rod system support inside the rim of the drum.
When using on fork-lift, place drum gripper on fork-lift blade so that locking screw is located at bottom.
Thereafter you have to attach the grapplers, therefore you have to take care that the right position of the grapplers in the guiding rod system are right adjusted according to the thickness of the rim of the drum.
For loosen unburden the gripper, then swivel the grapplers and take the gripper away.
