The basic lubrication of ropes is subject to wear-related shrinkage during use. Direct contact between the steel elements increases the friction, which can lead to more severe damage. Relubricating agent reduces the destructive friction between the rope elements and thus protects against corrosion. Get advice about your rope from a PFEIFER expert!
For large rope lengths PFEIFER recommends rope oil to provide the rope perfectly against friction and wear.
