"We were satisfied with the trade fair," said market development manager Franz Brugglehner, looking back. "We were able to hold good discussions with customers and make new contacts." By participating in the ConExpo, PFEIFER is looking to further stimulate its businesses in the USA and tap new markets. "Our American subsidiary has grown strongly in the past years," said Brugglehner. “Turnover has more than doubled since 2013. The demand for crane ropes and suitable rope connections remains good, despite the difficult situation in the offshore industry in Texas." In order to be able to offer better service to customers in the south of the United States and other parts of the country far off from the location on the East Coast, PFEIFER has now expanded and opened a new branch office in Houston, Texas. "Various steel ropes are made up here into hoisting and adjusting ropes by PFEIFER employees," Brugglehner explained. Visitors to the ConExpo were able to see PFEIFER's services and products for themselves on the basis of the exhibits and in discussions with the employees.
