Project video: Śląski Stadium shines in new splendour – thanks to PFEIFER

Śląski Stadium in Chorzów near Katowice in Poland has an eventful history. For Euro 2012 in Poland and the Ukraine, the stadium was supposed to be rebuilt, modernized and fitted with a new roof.

The first installation failed - a sports venue steeped in history, threatened to degenerate into a derelict ruin – until PFEIFER started to attend to the matter. In 2013, the Silesian government decided to reconstruct the stadium and complete the unfinished roof. Any and all components of the incomplete roof procured and purchased by the originally commissioned company needed to be inspected, repaired and re-used. Thanks to PFEIFER, Śląski Stadium shines again today in new splendour. A video production team, who accompanied reconstruction work at Śląski Stadium, shot a short four-minute documentary that shows how PFEIFER helped to continue the story of the stadium in Chorzów. Video also available on PFEIFER‘s YouTube-Channel. For more information on the reconstruction work at Śląski Stadium in Chorzow click here.
