Double bridge edge protection rail
Edge protection rail for lashing of several individual load parts together for uniform force distribution to protect the lashing strap against damage by sharp edges. The inner air gap in the edge protection profile protects the load edge, the edge rounding on the outside protects the strap and increases the slippage of the straps, resulting in better transmission of the prestressing force.

Safety instruction
  • To protect against damage to the lashing equipment and for the purpose of improved force deflection, the edges of sharp-edged and flat goods must be covered with edge protectors.
  • Edges are regarded as sharp if the edge radius R is smaller than the diameter of the rope / the thickness of the lifting strap or the round sling / the nominal thickness of the round steel chain (German Social Accident Insurance DGUV rule 109-017).
