The VS® BZ System is used for the load-bearing connection of prefabricated wall elements. The orange clip within the rails identifies an approval-compliant system. Only products with identical orange clips can be combined. The German Institute of Building Technology (DIBt) has issued a german approval for the VS® BZ System.

Function
Simply combining two identical VS® BZ Rails avoids confusion at the prefabrication stage as well as during installation on site. They are connected by threading a reinforcement bar though their overlapping loops. The joint is then cast in place with a suitable mortar.
We supply two types of joint filling material: a self-compacting, free-flowing grouting material and an approval-compliant joint filling mortar with plastic, thixotropic properties.
Only the mortar supplied by manufacturer PAGEL® is correspondingly approval-compliant.

Combinable products
VS® Joint Pressure Formwork FDS, which is available separately, is recommended for production of the optimum joint in the connection.
Design / Engineering
Possible loads
Shear loads running parallel and perpendicular to the joint as well as tensile loads are regulated by the building authorities.
Interaction of influences from all three directions is permitted.
