The Bent Loop for slabs and L-shaped walls was developed as a lifting anchor for precast concrete elements such as slabs and L-shaped walls. The shape of the bent loop and the design of the retaining bracket enable very simple installation and easy fixing to the reinforcement. Once the concrete reaches target strength, a suitable suspension hook can be hooked directly into the loop protruding from the component and the element lifted safely. All Bent Loops have, depending on the permissible resistance, colour-coded load capacity identification tags made of plastic.

Function
The optimised retaining bracket permits a wide range of attachment methods, e.g. welding, fixing with tying wire or securing with cable ties, etc.
Design / Engineering
Possible loads
It allows planned tensile loads, parallel shear loads up to 30° and transversal shear loads.
In this case parallel shear loads are exclusively permitted in the direction of the free rope ends.
Available variants / Versions
This bent loops come in three load capacities: 8 kN (0.8 t), 16 kN (1.6 t) as well as 24 kN (2.4 t).
Calculation
The technically suitable dimensioning of a lifting anchor must take into account technical directive VDI/BV-BS 6205 and must conform to the EC Machinery Directive.
