Flexible, sturdy, versatile – the new lifting clamp KL by PFEIFER sets new standards

The new vertical clamp made by PFEIFER combines the best virtues of the previous models and thus complements the present product line perfectly. It appears with a new name, slimmer form, easier handling as well as improved material – and all these enhancements for at a more attractive price and at the same time at a consistently high quality. Moreover, the lifting clamp KL by PFEIFER sets new standards as fare as flexibility, sturdiness and versatility are concerned.

Slimmer, lighter and more ergonomic

In terms of colour the new clamp KL relies on the established look of the PFEIFER lifting clamps in orange and black. Using labelling lasers and laser welding torches results in better legibility of the product information. In comparison to the previous models, the design is furthrmore more ergonomic and modern. The body is smaller, lighter and more convenient than before. Using newest materials, the clamp KL is nonetheless sturdy and durable. This is also proven in the continuous tensile test. Even after more than 300.000 load cycles, measurements and functions of the material remained unchained, thus the test was ceased.

Attachment and inclination angles without equals

The swivelling suspension eye – the so-called cardan joint – ensures universal usage of the clamp and also enables lateral attachment of loads. Lifting at full capacity is possible up to an angle of 45 °. Even in the direct attachment of loads, the lifting clamp KL by PFEIFER has no equal on the market. Here, safe lifting is actually possible up to an angle of 120 ° is possible – even without any loss in capacity.

Easier and safer than before

Due to the optimised safety lever, locking the new lifting clamp is now even easier and safer than before for the user. The clamp has a lock-open feature as well as a lock-closed feature providing additional convenience. In lock-closed position, there is a spring tension on the gripping cam so that the clamp cannot loosen from the load even when it is released unintentionally.

Special models and distinct sizes

As an option, there are additional gripping elements for special loads such as stainless steel or extremely hard sheets. Moreover, inexpensive spare part sets enable an even longer service life of the new PFEIFER clamp. There are models in several sizes. The spread of capacities range from 600 kg up to 2 tons, the gripping ranges from 1-21 up to 1-35 mm.

With the lifting clamp KL PFEIFER starts into a new era in the sector of lifting clamps and links up tradition and innovation at highest quality. „Made in Allgäu“, what also reflects the name „Klemmliesl“ in the introduction campaign.

Orders possible as of February

The lifting clamp KL can be ordered as of February and will be shipped as of the second quarter 2017.
