The Column Shoe System is designed to produce a rigid connection between precast concrete columns and the foundations. They can also be used to produce connections between two columns and to attach a beam to a column with nib. The Column Shoes PCC are used in this system in combination with Foundation Anchors. The advantages are simple, load-bearing bolted connection of precast concrete elements and the resulting significantly accelerated assembly. Additional supports can be dispensed with. In addition, thanks to the instantaneous load-bearing capacity, no drying times of grouts or the like need to be taken into account. Simpler precast component geometries due to minimized base plate dimensions are a bonus which further enhances cost-effectiveness. Technical proofs exist in the form of approvals and type-static calculations.
