The Flat Anchor was developed to connect the facing and load bearing layers in concrete sandwich elements. As a bearing or retaining anchor, prevents the horizontal shifting of the facing layer with respect to the load-bearing layer. High quality stainless steel is used in its manufacture to meet the high demands of its application. The bearing anchors are generally used in combination with Anchor Pins.

Possible loads
The shape of the Flat Anchor enables it to absorb loads in its longitudinal axis.
Usually several Flat Anchors are used as bearing anchors in combination with retaining anchors and connector pins.
Calculation
The admissible design resistance values are affected by numerous factors. These are listed in table form in the download area.
The admissible resistances are dimensioned solely via the dead weight of the facing layer. Loads due to wind pressure, wind suction and temperature are already accounted for in the design resistance.
