The VS® ISI System is used for load-bearing connections of precast panels and columns as well as for connecting two walls. The blue clip inside the long boxes and rails indicates an approval-compliant system. Only products with identical blue clips can be combined together. The German Institute of Building Technology (DIBt) has issued a german approval for the VS® ISI System.

Rail profiles for the force-locking connection of precast elements
The ISI strips (20 mm deep) and ISI rails (50 mm deep) are always used in combination. Their overlapping loops are connected by a reinforcing bar. The joint between the components is then filed with a suitable mortar.
Function
If using the VS® ISI System, a VS® ISI Long Box T20 is always combined with a VS® ISI Rail T50 and connected by threading a reinforcement bar through their overlapping loops. The joint is then cast in place with a suitable mortar.
We supply two types of joint filling material: a self-compacting, free-flowing grouting material and an approval-compliant joint filling mortar with plastic, thixotropic properties.
Only manufacturers PAGEL® Spezial-Beton GmbH & Co. KG, P&T Technische Mörtel GmbH & Co. KG and BETEC® supply correspondingly approval-compliant mortars - even in the event of fire.

Possible loads
Shear loads running parallel and perpendicular to the joint as well as tensile loads are regulated by the building authorities.
Interaction of influences from all three directions is permitted.
